Marta Perla

Marta Perla was born in 1995 in Terni, where she lived until the age of 20. After graduating from foreing language high school, Perla relocates to Rome to study Product Design at IED. She completes the course of study with the research thesis in collaboration with Oluce. Particular attention is given to the whole graphic aspect of the product and to the philosophy that invests an object because it is the reason for the shape itself.

I was born in 1987 in a Russian-Ukrainian family. Graduated from the university with a degree in fine arts. I started working in 2010 as an interior designer with French decorator Vanina Boudet. Later I continued my career as event designer and decorator. My New Year's jewelry was published in the book Holiday Design - THE FESTIVE&JOYFUL by SendPoints. Later, I tried myself as a modern artist. I exhibited my works at the Youth Biennale of Modern Art with the installation "Futuristic cross", which then decorated the Evangelical Lutheran Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. I am a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. I designed Shell sofa-transformers, for which I received my first "Red Dot" award. Then I began to produce author's lamps, which were exhibited at Moscow Design Week. My works were also published in Interni, ELLE Decoration, Yanko Design, and they decorated the cover of Light Design PRO. Since 2014, I have been designing lamps for the Maytoni brand, where I created the design of several hundred lamps. My works were exhibited at the Maytoni brand exhibitions: "Isaloni" in Milan, "Light + Building" in Frankfurt and Maison & Objet in Paris, as well as exhibitions in Hong Kong, Poland, Russia and other countries. I have won over two dozen international awards in object design.

Inca Hernandez is an emerging architect who graduated from the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira (UNET) in Venezuela. He has worked on different independent housing and cultural development projects in his native country. In 2015 he moved to Mexico where he had the opportunity to work with world-renowned architects such as Tadao Ando (Pritzker, 1995) and Álvaro Siza (Pritzker, 1992) on projects for Casa Wabi's Foundation in Oaxaca and New real estate and restoration developments in Mexico City. He has started his own firm Inca Hernández Arquitectura where he develops research, art direction, and architecture projects in Mexico, Portugal, Venezuela, Italy, and Denmark. His work is a constant dialogue and experimentation between the past and the future, a process of understanding time and the evolution of cities beyond borders. His work evokes timelessness and respect for the site with its time in a sustainable way. He has been awarded Gold Trophy at the 2020 MUSE Design Awards in the Renovation category, First Place Winner at the 2020 Peninsula Awards by the Association of Architects and Interior Designers in Mexico, and the Honorable Mention in the prestigious Architecture MasterPrize 2020. In 2021, he was the winner of the special "Architects of Tomorrow" recognition by The Plan and He obtained the gold medal at the International Design Awards (IDA). In 2022, he was one of the winners at the Dedalo Minosse Award in Vicenza, Italy.

Hisham Elessawy, M.Sc. World class Product Designer and Interior Architect - Founder of HEDS & Vice chairman of EHEC (the Egyptian Handicrafts Export Council). After graduating from the faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, El-Essawy sought to reinforce his career in Interior and Furniture Design by pursuing his study at Möbel Akademie in Berlin, where he got his diplomas in Design Intelligence, Interior and Furniture Design, and became a world class designer, mentor and lecturer. Furthermore, he followed his passion to intensify his knowledge in Design intelligence by finishing another Diploma in Creative Problem Solving at Minnesota University in the USA. El-Essawy is also holding a dual masters degree from The American University in Cairo and PLOMI in Design and Sustainability, offering green solutions for architecture, interior design and furniture design and manufacturing. As he returned back to Egypt, El-Essawy has taken it upon himself to develop the interior design and furniture industry in Egypt. He co-founded EDG (Egyptian Designers Guild), followed by DESiGNDUSTRY, and recently Cairo Designathon, the first and only design marathon in the region, as well as his own academy - HEDS Academy - to raise design leaders for next generation through professional design diplomas, mentorship, & competitions. El-Essawy who has over 20 years of experience in interior architecture and furniture design, is certified from EU as a professional interior architect and product design instructor, and has also worked as consultant for the Egyptian ministry of Industry, UNIDO, German Chamber and various furniture and design entities.

I perform in the relative conferences at universities both having conducted free of charge training courses for students and having organised different design events. It’s vital for me to develop myself and designers who around me. I try my best to dive into the client’s problems and his target audience behaviour to design interface which solve issues for both business and users.
